Focuslio | Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Focuslio's web, desktop, or Android applications ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the service.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Pro") or as a one-time purchase ("Pro Lifetime").

Subscriptions: Billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (monthly). Managed securely through Stripe. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.
One-time Purchases: The Pro Lifetime plan is billed as a single one-time payment of €49.99 for permanent access to Pro features.
Workspace Pro Features & Ownership: Pro features (such as premium workspace themes, custom priorities and statuses creation/editing, expanded member limits up to 25 members, and Manager roles) are tied to workspace ownership or Pro account status. Transferring workspace ownership to a non-Pro account or downgrading/canceling automatically resets non-Pro workspace themes to Dark, demotes Manager roles to Member roles, and adjusts workspace capacity.

Refunds are generally not provided for partial subscription periods or after one-time payments are processed, unless required by law.

3. User Conduct

You are responsible for all content you create and activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Service Availability and Data

We strive to ensure maximum uptime, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss of data, missed tasks, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

5. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

7. Focuslio AI

Focuslio includes an AI-powered productivity assistant ("Focuslio AI") that can provide advice, break down goals, summarize notes, and modify your tasks or workspace configuration based on your requests.

While we strive to provide high-quality productivity recommendations, Focuslio AI outputs are generated by machine learning models and are provided "as-is". We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI responses, and you acknowledge and agree that you must verify critical tasks, deadlines, or information independently.

You agree not to use Focuslio AI to submit prompts or content that are unlawful, abusive, harassing, or violate third-party rights.

8. Desktop Applications

Focuslio provides native desktop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux. When downloading and installing our desktop applications, operating systems may display standard security prompts for independent software (such as "Windows protected your PC" from Microsoft Defender SmartScreen or Gatekeeper warnings on macOS). These are standard notifications for software from independent developers. By proceeding to open or install the application, you acknowledge and agree to install the software at your own discretion.
